WEEK- 25 of Pregnancy

Intro:
Hello, Supermom-to-be! I’m Dr. Heal and welcome to Week 25 of your pregnancy journey. Today we’ll talk about what’s happening and how you can support your body during this important stage.

Key Information:
Your 25-week-old baby is getting a hang of your womb and can now understand which way is up or down your uterus. They’re also growing more fat and hair! And guess what- your little one’s hands are now fully formed too, ready to perform grasping actions. The baby’s skin smooths out as they gain fat.Lung shows more maturity
Your pregnancy hormones seem to be working a lot this week. You may experience swollen  varicose veins.  Heartburn is common as your baby grows bigger and the pressure on your digestive tract increases. You’ll also experience some heartburn and those tightening contractions called the Braxton Hicks Contractions will still occur irregularly.

Conclusion:
Avoid harsh soaps and moisturize your pregnant belly regularly in case it feels itchy. Keep your meals focused on whole, fresh foods and whole grains to keep you and your baby healthy.  And If you have questions or need advice, Apollo doctors and our supportive community are always here for you. You’ve got this supermom!
