Conclusion

Your baby is 5 months old and growing fast! Weighing between 5.5 and 9.2 kg, they are more curious, interactive, and aware of their surroundings. Their vision sharpens, they recognize voices, and they begin to understand object permanence. This month, they’ll show more emotions and react to caregivers. Encourage their growth with floor play, tummy time, singing, and reading. Walks outside will spark their curiosity. It’s a fun time of learning and bonding! Month 5 of pregnancy

Intro:
Congratulations on reaching your 5th month of pregnancy! I’m Dr. Heal, and today we’re going to explore all the exciting changes happening with you and your baby as you continue this journey.

Key Information:
This month, your baby is growing rapidly and is already as big as an avocado! Your baby’s skin is still thin but is starting to form vernix, a protective layer. This "cheesy" substance protects your baby’s skin from getting damaged by the amniotic acid fluid. You might also start to feel those little movements in your womb called "quickening" - a sign that your baby is actively moving around and growing! Your baby’s senses are developing too. They can now hear sounds, like your voice, and they’re starting to respond to light.

There might be some changes in your body lately. Your belly might be growing as your uterus expands up to the belly button. You may also feel some back pain or leg cramps. And guess what- your breasts may have grown up to 2 cup sizes by now! Your skin changes, and acne or skin tags might appear. On the brighter side, the "pregnancy glow" might make your skin look brighter, all thanks to those hormones and improved blood flow!

Conclusion:
This journey of pregnancy may feel long, but remember you’re not alone. If you have any questions or concerns, you can always connect with an Apollo doctor or join our community. You’ve got this, and we’re here for you every step of the way! You’ve got this supermom!
