WEEK- 35 of Pregnancy

Intro:
Hi there, Supermom! I’m Dr. Heal, and congratulations on making it to Week 35 of your pregnancy. Today, we will dive into the changes you and your baby will expect in this 35th week of your pregnancy!

Key Information:
Your baby’s hearing is almost pitch-perfect now as they can respond to high-pitch sounds from outside the womb. That’s probably something new! All the additional fat your baby is putting on is helping them stay warm. Their brain continues to grow as well.
Frequent trips to the bathroom, Constipation, and aches in your hips and pelvis may continue for you. You might also notice more Braxton Hicks contractions. Remember to rest and stay hydrated to ease the discomfort. If there is an increase in contractions, visit a hospital immediately.

Conclusion:
You should avoid caffeine, and try to avoid eating too close to bedtime. At this stage, start considering your childcare options and keep your packed hospital bag handy to you! It’s time to call your doctor if you notice your water breaking. This might feel like a trickle of fluid, painful contractions that are stronger than Braxton Hicks, and regular contractions that become more frequent and intense. If you’re unsure whether a symptom could mean labor, it’s always best to call your doctor to be safe. And If you have questions or need advice, Apollo doctors and our supportive community are always here for you. You’ve got this supermom!
