WEEK- 31 of Pregnancy

Intro:
Congratulations on reaching the 31st week of your pregnancy- the adventure continues! I’m Dr. Heal, and together, let’s explore all the incredible changes happening with you and your little one.

Key Information:
At week 31, all five of your baby’s senses are working in order. Your baby's brain is also forming some major nerve connections throughout their body. They can now open and close their eye. By now, your little one can recognise multiple voices and even specific words and sounds they hear regularly!
You might feel backaches, leg cramps, peeing often, and shortness of breath this week. Braxton hicks contracts continue. Due to all the extra weight gain, it might be difficult for you to move around or sleep soundly. Your breasts may start secreting Colostrum- that is thick milk drops. If you observe your nails getting too dry and breaking easily, apply cuticle oil to moisturize.

Conclusion:
Simple stretches for at least 20 minutes a day go a long way in keeping you healthy. And If you have questions or need advice, Apollo doctors and our supportive community are always here for you. You’ve got this supermom!
