Garbha Upaghatakara Bhavas can be basically classified into physical factors that can affect the pregnancy, the mental factors that can affect the pregnancy the diet and the lifestyle factors that can affect the pregnancy and which can lead to either the pregnancy loss or the defects birth defects or the congenital defects or the cognitive and the developmental behavioral developmental defects in the child. So looking into the physical factors that can lead to Garbha Upaghatakara that is uh Ayurveda has mentioned that the pregnant women can continue to do her regular activities. Only doing an extra or an extensive involvement in any of the uh activities like excise or Vayama, lifting the heavy weights or in terms of doing lot of weightlifting and extensive travel or long distance travel or travel in a very uneven surface or a jerky surfaces or a roller coaster ride or excessive sexual intercourse during pregnancy these are all the factors which is been told to be avoided by the pregnant women because of the trauma that it can lead to and can lead to the pregnancy loss. Majorly moderation is what is advised in in any of this activity and extra straining of the physical energy is to be avoided.
