HYDROCORTISONE+MINOXIDIL+TRETINOIN
About
HYDROCORTISONE+MINOXIDIL+TRETINOIN belongs to a class of medicines called dermatologicals used to treat male or female pattern baldness (androgenetic alopecia). Alopecia (hair loss) is the thinning or loss of hair on the scalp or any part of the body. Androgenetic alopecia is the permanent hair loss from the scalp that causes baldness. Hair loss can be due to heredity, hormonal changes, medical conditions or a normal part of ageing.
HYDROCORTISONE+MINOXIDIL+TRETINOIN is a combination of three drugs, namely: Hydrocortisone (corticosteroid), Minoxidil (vasodilator) and Tretinoin (a form of vitamin A). Hydrocortisone inhibits the release of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching and swelling of the scalp. Minoxidil widens the blood vessels and improves blood circulation to the hair follicles. Thus, it prevents hair loss and stimulates hair growth. Tretinoin is a form of vitamin A that promotes hair follicles growth on the scalp.
You are advised to use HYDROCORTISONE+MINOXIDIL+TRETINOIN for as long as your doctor has recommended it for you based on your condition. HYDROCORTISONE+MINOXIDIL+TRETINOIN is not recommended for children unless advised by a doctor.
