Volrin TH 2mg/37.5mg Injection is a combination medication primarily used to treat acute musculoskeletal pain and muscle spasms. Pain is a symptom triggered by the nervous system, causing uncomfortable sensations in the body.
Volrin TH 2mg/37.5mg Injection is a combination of Diclofenac and Thiocolchicoside. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (pain killer/NSAID) with analgesic properties. It inhibits cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes and further prevents the formation of chemical messengers, 'prostaglandins' (PGs), that cause pain and swelling at the injured or damaged site. Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant that works on the centres of the spinal cord and brain. This process helps reduce muscle stiffness and improves muscle movements, thus relieving pain due to muscle spasms.
A healthcare professional will administer this medicine. Common side effects of Volrin TH 2mg/37.5mg Injection include headache, stomach upset, constipation, dizziness, drowsiness, diarrhoea, pain, swelling, and redness at the injection site. These side effects are not familiar to everyone and vary individually. However, if the side effects are persistent, please consult your doctor.
Before starting Volrin TH 2mg/37.5mg Injection, inform your doctor if you have any liver, heart or kidney diseases, high blood pressure, diabetes, stomach ulcers, asthma, and auto-immune conditions like systemic lupus erythematosus. Volrin TH 2mg/37.5mg Injection treats acute musculoskeletal pain and muscle spasms. It contains Diclofenac and Thiocolchicoside. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and relieves pain. It inhibits cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes that further prevent the formation of chemical messengers called 'prostaglandins' (PGs). These prostaglandins are produced at injury sites and cause pain and swelling. By blocking the COX enzymes' effect, lesser PGs are produced, which reduces mild to moderate pain and inflammation at the injured or damaged site. Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant that works on the centres of the spinal cord and brain. This process helps reduce muscle stiffness and improves muscle movements, thus relieving pain due to muscle spasms.
Inform your doctor if you have any liver, heart or kidney diseases, high blood pressure, diabetes, stomach ulcers, gastrointestinal diseases, asthma, and autoimmune diseases (systemic lupus erythematosus) before being treated with Volrin TH 2mg/37.5mg Injection. Pain is a symptom triggered by the nervous system, causing uncomfortable sensations in the body.
Muscular spasms are involuntary muscle contractions that can be unpleasant and uncomfortable. Muscle spasms can occur when the nerve signals that regulate muscle action are disrupted or stopped. Muscle tightness, joint stiffness, atypical posture, trouble moving, and discomfort in afflicted muscles and joints are all symptoms. Muscle spasms can be triggered by fatigue (weakness), stress, excessive heat or cold, illness, and tight clothing. Muscular relaxants and exercise can both be used to treat muscle spasms. Muscle relaxants numb the muscle and help prevent unpleasant spasms. At the same time, exercise aids in muscular stretching, making spasms, tears, and sprains less common.
