Posture 50 mg/325 mg/2 mg Tablet is a combination medicine that contains pain relievers and muscle relaxants. It is used to treat spasticity (muscle stiffness and spasms) associated with pain. Pain is a symptom triggered by the nervous system, causing uncomfortable sensations in the body. A muscle spasm occurs due to involuntary contractions of a muscle. A spasm may be a muscle cramp or feel tight or stiff, like a knot.

Posture 50 mg/325 mg/2 mg Tablet contains Diclofenac, Paracetamol and Tizanidine. Diclofenac and Paracetamol blocks prostaglandins (PGs) that cause pain and swelling. Tizanidine works on the centres of the spinal cord and brain. This helps relieve muscle stiffness and improves muscle movements. As a result, Posture 50 mg/325 mg/2 mg Tablet helps to reduce muscle stiffness, spasms, and pain. In addition, paracetamol lowers the high temperature by affecting the chemical messengers in an area of the brain that regulates body temperature.

Posture 50 mg/325 mg/2 mg Tablet is prescribed medication, and it should be taken as directed by the doctor. In some cases, you may experience common side effects such as vomiting, diarrhoea, headaches, drowsiness and ringing in your ears (tinnitus), fluctuations in blood pressure, dry mouth, stomach upsets, and a decrease or increase in heart rate. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually. If any of these effects persist, consult your doctor.

Avoid taking Posture 50 mg/325 mg/2 mg Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components. Before taking Posture 50 mg/325 mg/2 mg Tablet, tell your doctor about your medical history and other medications you are currently taking to rule out any possible side effects. Posture 50 mg/325 mg/2 mg Tablet is not recommended for use in pregnancy. If you are breastfeeding, consult your doctor before taking Posture 50 mg/325 mg/2 mg Tablet. This medicine may cause dizziness, so drive only if you are alert and focused. Posture 50 mg/325 mg/2 mg Tablet should not be given to children as safety has not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol while on treatment with Posture 50 mg/325 mg/2 mg Tablet as it could lead to liver damage.

Besides this, paracetamol reduces elevated temperature by altering the chemical messengers in the brain area that regulates body temperature.

Do not take Posture 50 mg/325 mg/2 mg Tablet if you are allergic to its components. Inform your doctor about all your medical conditions, especially if you have/ had hepatotoxicity, hypotension, renal dysfunction or renal toxicities, asthma, fluid retention, GI toxicity, rash, or thrombosis (blood clots). It is not recommended to take Posture 50 mg/325 mg/2 mg Tablet during pregnancy or whilst breastfeeding. Posture 50 mg/325 mg/2 mg Tablet may cause drowsiness and dizziness, so drive only when you are alert. Posture 50 mg/325 mg/2 mg Tablet is not recommended for children as safety and effectiveness have not been established. Do not stop taking Posture 50 mg/325 mg/2 mg Tablet unless your doctor tells you to. Treatment with Posture 50 mg/325 mg/2 mg Tablet should be stopped gradually. Stopping treatment suddenly may cause effects such as an increase in heart rate and high blood pressure.

• Regular exercise helps muscle stretch, making them less likely to spasm, tear, and sprain. Mild activities such as jogging and walking are helpful for muscle stretching.
• Massages can also be helpful.
• Rest well, and get plenty of sleep.
• Change your position at least every two hours to avoid developing pressure sores.
• Hot or cold therapy can help treat muscle spasms.
• Apply an ice pack or hot pack on the muscle for 15-20minutes.
• Stay hydrated, drink plenty of water.
