Myosone Plus Tablet is a combination of two drugs: Eperisone (muscle relaxant) and Paracetamol (pain killer). Eperisone works by relaxing skeletal muscles and reducing myotonia (inability of muscles to relax). It can relax vascular smooth muscles (smooth muscle found in the wall of blood vessels) and improve blood circulation. It can also suppress pain reflexes. It inhibits cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes that further prevent the formation of chemical messengers called 'prostaglandins' (PGs). These prostaglandins are produced at injury sites and cause pain and swelling. By blocking the COX enzyme's effect, lesser PGs are produced, which reduces mild to moderate pain and inflammation at the injured or damaged site. Collectively, Myosone Plus Tablet helps to reduce pain and spasms in the muscle effectively.

You should take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The common side effects of Myosone Plus Tablet are nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort, headache, weakness, drowsiness, and dizziness. Most of these side effects are mild and temporary.
