Ketorut Dispersible Tablet 15's belongs to a group of medicines called Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAID) indicated for the short-term management of moderate to severe acute postoperative pain. Pain is a symptom triggered by the nervous system, which causes uncomfortable sensations in the body.
 
Ketorut Dispersible Tablet 15's contains 'ketorolac tromethamine', which works by inhibiting the synthesis of certain chemical messengers in the body, such as prostaglandins, which are responsible for causing pain and inflammation. Thereby, Ketorut Dispersible Tablet 15's helps provide relief from pain.
 
In some cases, you may experience common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, diarrhoea, constipation, gas, and dizziness. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.
 
Avoid taking Ketorut Dispersible Tablet 15's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Ketorut Dispersible Tablet 15's should not be given to children as safety and efficacy have not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol with Ketorut Dispersible Tablet 15's as it could lead to increased dizziness; it might also increase the risk of stomach bleeding. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and medicines to rule out any side effects/interactions.

Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water; do not chew or break it.

Ketorut Dispersible Tablet 15's can increase your risk of a fatal heart attack or stroke. So, if you have had any recent heart surgery, do not take Ketorut Dispersible Tablet 15's. Inform your doctor if you have or had high blood pressure, heart problems, high cholesterol, diabetes, asthma, liver and kidney problems. Avoid taking Ketorut Dispersible Tablet 15's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Ketorut Dispersible Tablet 15's may cause dizziness, so drive only if you are alert. Ketorut Dispersible Tablet 15's is not recommended for children as safety and effectiveness have not been established. Stop taking Ketorut Dispersible Tablet 15's and consult your doctor immediately if you have stomach pain or any signs of bleeding in the intestine or stomach, such as blood in stools. Do not take any other NSAIDs for pain relief along with Ketorut Dispersible Tablet 15's unless prescribed.
