About Dentaforce-DT Tablet

Dentaforce-DT Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAID) indicated for the short-term management of moderate to severe acute postoperative pain. Pain is a symptom triggered by the nervous system, which causes uncomfortable sensations in the body.
 
Dentaforce-DT Tablet contains 'ketorolac tromethamine', which works by inhibiting the synthesis of certain chemical messengers in the body, such as prostaglandins, which are responsible for causing pain and inflammation. Thereby, Dentaforce-DT Tablet helps provide relief from pain.
 
In some cases, you may experience common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, diarrhoea, constipation, gas, and dizziness. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.
 
Avoid taking Dentaforce-DT Tablet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Dentaforce-DT Tablet should not be given to children as safety and efficacy have not been established. Directions for Use

Tablet/capsule: Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water; do not chew or break the tablet/capsule.Tablet DT: Check the label for directions before use. Disperse the tablet in the prescribed amount of water and swallow the contents. Do not crush, chew or swallow as a whole.

Do not take Dentaforce-DT Tablet if you are allergic to any of its contents; if you have/had asthma, severe heart problems, stomach ulcer or perforation, bleeding problems such as bleeding from the stomach, intestine or brain, bypass surgery, heart attack, blood circulation problems, or inflammation of intestines. Dentaforce-DT Tablet can increase your risk of a fatal heart attack or stroke. So, if you have had any recent heart surgery, do not take Dentaforce-DT Tablet . Inform your doctor if you have or had high blood pressure, heart problems, high cholesterol, diabetes, asthma, liver and kidney problems. Avoid taking Dentaforce-DT Tablet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Dentaforce-DT Tablet may cause dizziness, so drive only if you are alert. Dentaforce-DT Tablet is not recommended for children as safety and effectiveness have not been established. Stop taking Dentaforce-DT Tablet and consult your doctor immediately if you have stomach pain or any signs of bleeding in the intestine or stomach, such as blood in stools. Do not take any other NSAIDs for pain relief along with Dentaforce-DT Tablet unless prescribed.

What if I have taken an overdose of Dentaforce-DT Tablet

Take Dentaforce-DT Tablet only as prescribed by the physician. Please make sure not to take more than the recommended dose as it could lead to an overdose. Symptoms of overdose may include lethargy, drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, and epigastric pain. Gastrointestinal bleeding may also occur, and in rare cases, high blood pressure, acute kidney failure, respiratory depression, and coma may occur. If you experience these symptoms or suspect you have taken an overdose, seek immediate medical attention.

Dentaforce-DT Tablet is not an antibiotic or steroid. It is a Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and has antipyretic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties.
Dentaforce-DT Tablet is a potent NSAID that should only be considered for the short-term relief of acute, moderately severe pain that occurs following surgery. But Ketorolac carries a high risk of severe gastrointestinal side effects and can increase bleeding. However, your doctor will guide you on preventive measures as well.
Dentaforce-DT Tablet is usually safe to use. However, the risk of having a serious side effect increases with the dose of ketorolac and with the length of treatment. Therefore, ketorolac should not be used for more than recommended days.
