About Insugen 50/50 100IU Injection 3 ml

Insugen 50/50 100IU Injection 3 ml is used for the treatment of both type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus. Diabetes mellitus is a condition that affects the way the body processes glucose. In Diabetes Mellitus Type 1, the body does not make enough insulin to control blood sugar levels. In Diabetes Mellitus type 2, either the body stops producing enough insulin (the hormone which helps to decrease sugar levels in the blood), or there is resistance to the action of insulin. As a result, insulin is produced in large amounts, but it cannot act on the organs of the body.

Insugen 50/50 100IU Injection 3 ml is a combination of two drugs: Human insulin (a short-acting type of insulin) and Insulin isophane (intermediate-acting). Insugen 50/50 100IU Injection 3 ml suppresses the production of sugar in the liver and facilitates the reuptake of sugar in the fat and muscle cells; thereby, Insugen 50/50 100IU Injection 3 ml ensures rapid and consistent sugar control.

Take Insugen 50/50 100IU Injection 3 ml as advised by your doctor. If you are not well trained to self-administer Insugen 50/50 100IU Injection 3 ml, ask your healthcare professional to administer it. In some cases, Insugen 50/50 100IU Injection 3 ml may cause certain common side effects like an allergic reaction at the site of injection, hypoglycemia (low blood glucose level), itching, lipodystrophy (skin thickening or pits at the injection site), oedema (swelling), rashes, and weight gain. Most of these side effects of Insugen 50/50 100IU Injection 3 ml do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Consult your doctor before taking Insugen 50/50 100IU Injection 3 ml if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Insugen 50/50 100IU Injection 3 ml may cause drowsiness, so drive with caution.
