Glimisave Nexa 2/1000 Tablet contains Metformin (biguanides), which works by reducing the sugar production by cells in the liver and delays sugar absorption from the intestine; Sitagliptin (dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitor), which works by increasing the amounts of certain natural substances that lower blood sugar when it is high and Glimepiride (sulfonylureas) works by stimulating beta cells in the pancreas that produce insulin. Thus, insulin helps to remove sugar from the blood.

It removes excess sugar from the body via urine, increases the amounts of certain natural substances that lower blood sugar when it is high, reduces sugar production by cells in the liver and delays sugar absorption from the intestines.
