CALAMINE belongs to a class of drugs called anti-itching agents used to treat mild skin irritation and itching conditions such as rashes, eczema, sunburn, prickly heat, stings, insect bites, and chickenpox spots. Skin irritation is the temporary outbreak of the skin, which appear as red, bumpy, itchy, scaly patches on the skin, possibly with welts or blisters.

CALAMINE contains Calamine that has mild antiseptic and astringent properties. It causes a cooling sensation as it evaporates on the skin. Thus, helps to relieve itching and irritation.

CALAMINE is for external use only. Use CALAMINE as advised by a doctor. Some people may experience rash or redness of the skin. These side effects of CALAMINE do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
