Remethyl-Lc Tab belongs to the class of 'nutritional supplements' primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies due to various complications or long-term diseases. Take Remethyl-Lc Tab as prescribed. The common side-effects of Remethyl-Lc Tab are diarrhoea, nausea (feeling sick), and vomiting. These side effects are mild and don’t require medical attention. However, inform your doctor if any of these side effects persist or worsen.

Do not take Remethyl-Lc Tab if you are allergic to any of its contents. Before taking Remethyl-Lc Tab , inform your doctor if you are taking any prescription, non-prescription medicines, herbal products, or dietary supplements. Let your doctor know if you have a history of seizures (fits), liver disease, kidney disease, cancer, obesity, hypokalemia, optic nerve damage, or diabetes before using Remethyl-Lc Tab . Please inform your doctor if you are using any prescription and non-prescription medications, including vitamins, and herbal supplements. Do not take Remethyl-Lc Tab if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless prescribed by the doctor. Do not take antacids before or after 2 hours of taking Remethyl-Lc Tab as they may interfere with the action of Remethyl-Lc Tab . 

Drug-drug interactions: Remethyl-Lc Tab may interact with an antibiotic (chloramphenicol), anticancer agent (methotrexate and fluorouracil), blood thinners (warfarin), anti-gout medicine (colchicine), antacids (cimetidine, omeprazole, lansoprazole, and ranitidine), a medicine used to treat diabetes (metformin), a medicine used to treat inflammatory bowel conditions (sulfasalazine), a medicine used to reduce cholesterol (cholestyramine), and antiepileptic drugs (phenytoin and fosphenytoin).

Drug-food interactions: Remethyl-Lc Tab may interact with alcohol.

Drug-disease interactions: Remethyl-Lc Tab should be used with caution in patients with malabsorption syndrome (difficulty absorbing nutrition from food), cancer, neural tube defects, kidney dialysis, optic nerve damage, diabetes, obesity, hypokalemia (low potassium levels in the blood), and stent in the heart.

• Include fruits like citrus, banana, and watermelon in your diet.
• Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.
• Exercise regularly, and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Avoid excess fatty foods.

• Serum levels of mecobalamin present in Remethyl-Lc Tab may be lowered by the use of oral contraceptives.
• Monitor your blood glucose levels regularly while using Remethyl-Lc Tab .
