About Primode Capsule

Primode Capsule is used to treat premenstrual syndrome, mastalgia (breast pain), and rheumatoid arthritis. Premenstrual syndrome is a condition in which a woman has symptoms one to two weeks before her period. Mastalgia is breast pain caused by cyclical or non-cyclical hormonal fluctuations. Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic condition that causes joint pain, swelling, and stiffness.

Primode Capsule includes cod liver oil and evening primrose oil. Cod liver oil is enriched with omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin D. Omega-3 essential fatty acids have potent anti-inflammatory properties: They drastically limit the production of numerous substances that contribute to inflammation. They are the building elements for prostaglandins, which regulate your immune system and treat joint inflammation. Vitamin D is essential for the creation of proteoglycan in cartilage, as well as the maintenance of a healthy musculoskeletal system. Evening primrose oil is enriched with omega-6 essential fatty acids, linoleic acid, and gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), which can help with premenstrual syndrome and menopausal symptoms.

You can take Primode Capsule with or without food or as directed by the physician. Some people may experience side effects like nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, heartburn and stomach upset. Most of the side effects do not necessitate medical attention and resolve on their own over time. Consult with your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Do not take Primode Capsule if you are allergic to cod liver oil, evening primrose oil, or any inactive ingredients present in Primode Capsule . If you are a pregnant woman or nursing mother, do not consume Primode Capsule without first consulting your doctor. Talk to a doctor before taking Primode Capsule if you have a history of blood disorders, seizures or fits, severe liver disease, kidney disease, or cardiac problems. To rule out any adverse effects, keep your doctor informed about your health condition and all medications you take.

Although omega-3 fatty acids help lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood, they can minimise the risk of stroke and various heart diseases in persons with inflammatory arthritis.

Disease/Condition Glossary

Premenstrual syndrome: PMS (premenstrual syndrome) refers to the symptoms that women may suffer in the weeks preceding their period. PMS affects the majority of women at some point in their lives. Each woman's symptoms are unique and can change from month to month. Mood swings, feeling disturbed, worried, or irritable, tiredness or difficulty sleeping, headaches, bloating or tummy pain, breast tenderness, spotty skin, greasy hair, changes in appetite, and sexual desire are the most frequent PMS symptoms.

Mastalgia: Mastalgia (breast pain) is caused by hormonal fluctuations that are either cyclical (connected to the menstrual cycle) or non-cyclical (pain not related to periods). Breast tenderness, swelling, and thick regions can all be caused by normal fibrocystic changes. Breast soreness, acute scorching pain, and tightness in the breast tissue are all symptoms.

Rheumatoid arthritis: Rheumatoid arthritis is an auto-immune disease in which the body's immune system destroys its own tissue, causing joint discomfort and destruction. It is a chronic condition that worsens steadily over time. Rheumatoid arthritis is distinguished by loss of joint function, progressive bone deterioration, and synovitis (inflammation of the joints). Rheumatoid arthritis is caused by genetic, immunological, and environmental factors. Rheumatoid arthritis symptoms include pain, swelling, stiffness, deformities, and loss of joint function.
