Hair-O-Tin Plus Tablet belongs to a class of 'nutritional supplements,' primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies and anaemia (lack of red blood cells). Hair-O-Tin Plus Tablet contains Biotin and Folic acid. Biotin (Vitamin B7) rejuvenates the cells and keeps the liver, skin, and nervous system healthy. It treats biotin deficiency and is essential for the proper growth and development of the foetus during pregnancy. Folic acid helps in forming red blood cells and prevents and treats folate deficiency (low blood levels of folate). When taken by pregnant women, Folic acid prevents miscarriage and neural tube defects in infants.

• Try folate-rich food sources like broccoli, Brussels sprouts, leafy green vegetables, cabbage, kale, spring greens, spinach, peas, chickpeas, kidney beans, liver (avoid this during pregnancy), and breakfast cereals fortified with folic acid.
• Include fruits like citrus, banana, and watermelon in your diet.
