Gasomine Tablet belongs to the class of 'digestive enzymes' primarily used to treat gas, bloating, and stomach pain. Gas is the build-up of air in the digestive tract. Bloating is the swelling or a feeling of fullness in the abdomen due to gas in the stomach and intestines.
Gasomine Tablet contains Alpha Galactosidase and Simethicone. Alpha Galactosidase is a digestive enzyme that breaks down starch into simple sugars to easily digest starch, carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. Simethicone is an anti-gas (anti-flatulence) medicine that lowers the surface tension of gas bubbles, thereby facilitating gas expulsion through flatus or belching (burping). It also prevents the accumulation and formation of gas in the digestive tract.
Use Gasomine Tablet in the dose and duration suggested by your doctor. Gasomine Tablet is generally safe to use. However, some may experience side effects like nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea. Although not everyone experiences these side effects, please seek medical attention if these effects occur.
