Eract-X Sachet is used to treat nutritional deficiency. It is also used to treat nerve pain, heart disease, and erectile dysfunction. Nutritional deficiency occurs when the body is unable to absorb or get enough nutrients from food.

Eract-X Sachet is a combination of L-Arginine, Fenugreek extract, Zinc, Magnesium, and Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine). L-arginine boosts the immune system and gets converted into nitric oxide (when taken as a supplement), which widens the blood vessels and improves blood flow. Fenugreek extract effectively lowers blood sugar levels in diabetes, relieves menstrual cramps, and improves testosterone levels. Zinc is an essential trace element and mineral that promotes the growth and development of body tissues. Magnesium is a mineral supplement that aids in the normal functioning of cells, nerves, muscles, bones, and the heart. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking Eract-X Sachet. It is advised to limit alcohol intake to get the maximum benefits of Eract-X Sachet.

Brief your medical history to the doctor if you have any asthma, gout, cirrhosis (chronic liver damage), kidney diseases, recent heart attack, phenylketonuria, low blood pressure, and herpes (virus infection) before using Eract-X Sachet. Zinc in Eract-X Sachet may decrease the absorption of antibiotics and can reduce their effectiveness. Hence, it is advised to maintain at least an hour gap between Eract-X Sachet and other antibiotics. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking Eract-X Sachet. It is advised to limit the alcohol intake while using Eract-X Sachet. Do not store Eract-X Sachet above 25°C.

Drug-Drug Interaction: Eract-X Sachet may interact with angina medicines (nitroglycerin, isosorbide), blood pressure medicines (captopril, enalapril, losartan, valsartan, diltiazem, amlodipine, hydrochlorothiazide, furosemide), a medicine used to treat erectile dysfunction (sildenafil), anti-coagulants (aspirin, clopidogrel, warfarin), fits medicines (phenytoin, phenobarbital), antibiotics (minocycline, tetracycline, demeclocycline, ciprofloxacin, norfloxacin, enoxacin, amikacin, gentamicin), water pills (amiloride), and antidiabetics (glimepiride, insulin, pioglitazone).

Drug-Food Interaction: It is advised to limit alcohol intake while using Eract-X Sachet to obtain its maximum benefits.

Drug-Disease Interaction: Eract-X Sachet should be used with caution in asthma, gout, cirrhosis, kidney diseases, recent heart attack, phenylketonuria, low blood pressure, and herpes. Please seek medical advice if you have any pre-existing medical conditions.

• Follow a well-balanced diet.

• Try arginine-rich food sources like oats, corn, cereals, buckwheat, brown rice, dairy products, meat, chicken, and chocolate.

• Include natural sources of arginine like walnuts, hazelnuts, pecans, peanuts, almonds, cashews, Brazil nuts, sesame, and sunflower seeds in your daily diet.

• Include zinc-rich sources like meat, shellfish, legumes, hemp seeds, nuts, eggs, dairy products, whole grains, potatoes, kale, and dark chocolate in your diet.

• Try Vitamin B complex food sources like milk, cheese, eggs, liver and kidney, chicken, red meat, tuna, mackerel, and salmon, shellfish, oysters, clams, dark green vegetables, such as spinach and kale, beets, avocados, potatoes, whole grains, cereals, kidney beans, black beans, and chickpea.

• Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.

• Exercise regularly and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Avoid excess fatty foods.

Let your doctor and the laboratory staff know if you are using Eract-X Sachet since Pyridoxine may interfere with laboratory tests like urine tests for urobilinogen.
