About Auxisoda Tablet

Auxisoda Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called alkalinising agents used to correct the acid-alkaline balance in the body. Auxisoda Tablet is used to treat acid indigestion, heartburn, sour stomach, and stomach upset. Auxisoda Tablet may also be prescribed to make the blood or urine less acidic in certain conditions.

Auxisoda Tablet contains ‘Sodium bicarbonate’, which helps neutralise the stomach's acidic pH. Thereby, Auxisoda Tablet helps to provide relief from acidity.

You are advised to take Auxisoda Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. Sometimes, you may experience common side effects such as dry mouth, urinating more than usual, and increased thirst. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Inform your doctor if you have high blood pressure, kidney, liver or heart disease, if you have recently had bleeding in the stomach or intestine or if you are on a low-salt diet. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy or breastfeeding. Auxisoda Tablet should not be given to children unless prescribed by the doctor. Avoid consuming alcohol, as it could elevate the production of stomach acid.

Directions for Use

Tablet/Capsule: Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water; do not chew or crush the tablet/capsule.Liquid/Suspension/Drops: Shake the bottle well before use. Take the prescribed dose by mouth using the measuring cup/dosing syringe/dropper provided by the pack.Powder/Sachet/Granules: Check the label for directions before use. Mix the powder/granules in water, stir well and drink immediately.

Auxisoda Tablet is an antacid that helps neutralize stomach acid during indigestion and heartburn. Auxisoda Tablet may also be prescribed to make the blood or urine less acidic in certain conditions.
Auxisoda Tablet has alkaline pH, which helps in neutralising the acidic pH in the stomach. Thereby, Auxisoda Tablet helps to provide relief from acidity and heartburn.
Do not take Auxisoda Tablet for longer than two weeks unless prescribed by the doctor. If there is no symptomatic improvement despite using Auxisoda Tablet for 1-2 weeks, consult your doctor.
Auxisoda Tablet can be taken with other medicines if prescribed by the doctor. However, you are advised to maintain a gap of 2 hours between Auxisoda Tablet and other medicines.

Auxisoda Tablet overdose may lead to hyperventilation (over breathing), twitching, very sensitive to light stimuli and high potassium levels in the blood which may cause dizziness or tiredness. Therefore, if you suspect you have taken overdose of Auxisoda Tablet , please seek medical help immediately.
Pregnant women are recommended to consult their doctor before using Auxisoda Tablet or any antacid, as it may worsen high blood pressure during pregnancy.
