About Titovil Injection

Titovil Injection belongs to the class of medicines called antihistamines used to treat allergic symptoms. An allergy occurs when foreign elements known as allergens attack and invade our body thereby causing the release of histamine (a chemical messenger) that causes swelling, inflammation, redness, itchiness, and watery nose, throat, and eyes.

Titovil Injection contains Pheniramine that works by blocking the action of histamine, a substance responsible for causing allergic reactions. It directly acts on the brain and relieves symptoms of allergies by preventing the release of histamine. It helps to provide relief from allergic symptoms.

Titovil Injection will be administered by a healthcare professional; do not self-administer. Some people may experience a stinging or burning sensation at the injection site, rapid or irregular heartbeat, drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, restlessness, dry mouth, weakness or headache. If any of these side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Pheniramine or any other ingredients and are being treated for an enlarged prostate gland or overactive thyroid, inform your doctor. Please consult a doctor before taking Titovil Injection if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid taking Titovil Injection if you have used monoamine oxidase inhibitors (antidepressants) in the past 14 days. Drive only if you are alert as Titovil Injection may cause drowsiness. Avoid consumption of alcohol with Titovil Injection as it may increase the risk of adverse effects of Pheniramine.

Additionally, Titovil Injection is used to prevent and treat motion sickness, vomiting, nausea and vertigo (spinning sensation) due to Menière’s disease (inner ear disorder) and other labyrinthine disturbances.
