Awil Injection 2 ml contains Pheniramine that works by blocking the action of histamine, a substance responsible for causing allergic reactions. It directly acts on the brain and relieves symptoms of allergies by preventing the release of histamine. It helps to provide relief from allergic symptoms.

Awil Injection 2 ml will be administered by a healthcare professional; do not self-administer. Some people may experience a stinging or burning sensation at the injection site, rapid or irregular heartbeat, drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, restlessness, dry mouth, weakness or headache. If any of these side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Also, it is used to treat respiratory tract conditions accompanied by increased secretion including acute rhinitis and vasomotor rhinitis. It works by blocking the action of histamine, a substance responsible for causing allergic reactions. Thus, it helps provide relief from allergy symptoms such as sneezing/runny nose, red/itchy/watery eyes, throat swelling, itchy throat, and congestion or stiffness. Additionally, Awil Injection 2 ml is used to prevent and treat motion sickness, vomiting, nausea and vertigo (spinning sensation) due to Menière’s disease (inner ear disorder) and other labyrinthine disturbances.

Drug-Drug Interaction: Awil Injection 2 ml may interact with MAO inhibitors, psychotropic drugs, CNS depressants (sedatives, hypnotics and tranquillizers), drugs used to treat anxiety, anticonvulsant (phenytoin), and anticholinergic drug (atropine).

Drug-Food Interaction:  Awil Injection 2 ml may interact with alcohol. Therefore, avoid consumption of alcohol with Awil Injection 2 ml as it may increase the risk of adverse effects of Pheniramine.

Drug-Disease Interaction: Inform your doctor if you have very high blood pressure, enlarged prostate gland, fits, glaucoma, asthma, heart, liver or chest diseases.
