Ticlantin 250mg Tablet contains Ticlopidine, which works by preventing the platelets from forming clots. Thereby, it helps reduce the formation of clots and the risk of stroke.

Directions for Use

Take Ticlantin 250mg Tablet with food or just after eating to minimise gastrointestinal discomfort. Swallow Ticlantin 250mg Tablet a whole with a glass of water; do not chew or break it.

Drug Warnings

Do not take Ticlantin 250mg Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components; if you have hematopoietic disorders like neutropenia (low white blood cells), thrombocytopenia (low platelet count), a history of thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (life-threatening blood disorder), peptic ulcers, intracranial bleeding, or severe liver impairment. Inform the doctor if you have liver disease, bleeding problems, kidney disease, bleeding ulcers, high blood fats, or high blood cholesterol. Ticlantin 250mg Tablet may cause a decrease in white blood cells; consult the doctor if you experience fever, sore throat, chills, or other signs of infection. Seek medical attention if you experience fever, anaemia, kidney abnormalities, and neurological changes; these could be the signs of a potentially life-threatening condition known as thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP). Call your doctor immediately if you notice yellowing of the eyes or skin, pale colour, rash, fever, seizures, difficulty speaking, dark urine, or weakness on the side of the body.
