Ormefen Tablet is used to prevent unintended pregnancy. It is a non-hormonal and non-steroidal contraceptive with very few side effects. Unintended pregnancy is a pregnancy that occurred either unwanted when no children or no more children were desired. Also, pregnancy is mistimed, such as the pregnancy occurring earlier than desired.
Ormefen Tablet contains 'Ormeloxifene', which prevents implantation on the wall of the uterus. Ormefen Tablet may also change the lining of the uterus to prevent the development of a pregnancy. Ormefen Tablet does not have any effect if you are already pregnant; hence, it does not cause abortion.
Take Ormefen Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. Your doctor will recommend how often you take Ormefen Tablet based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience irregular or delayed periods. Most of these side effects of Ormefen Tablet subside with time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.
Do not take Ormefen Tablet if you are allergic to Ormefen Tablet or any of the ingredients. Do not take Ormefen Tablet if you are already pregnant. Ormefen Tablet cannot terminate the pregnancy. Ormefen Tablet is safe is taken by breastfeeding women. For the first three months, when you start taking Ormefen Tablet , it is better to use a condom to avoid an unplanned pregnancy.
