OP-Kluch Tablet is used to treat acidity, nausea, and vomiting. About OP-Kluch Tablet

OP-Kluch Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called gastrointestinal agents used to treat acidity, nausea, and vomiting. It may also be indicated in conditions such as indigestion, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), heartburn, chronic gastritis, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and ulcers of the stomach and duodenum.

OP-Kluch Tablet contains Pantoprazole (proton pump inhibitor) and Ondansetron (anti-emetic). Pantoprazole reduces the production of stomach acid and provides relief from acidity-related conditions. Ondansetron works by inhibiting the action of serotonin, a chemical messenger that triggers nausea and vomiting.

Sometimes, OP-Kluch Tablet may cause side effects such as diarrhoea, constipation, bloating, and abdominal pain. These side effects may not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to the doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

What if I have taken an overdose of OP-Kluch Tablet

Please do not exceed the recommended dose, as it might cause an overdose. Signs and symptoms of an overdose of OP-Kluch Tablet may include sudden loss of vision, severe constipation, feeling light-headed, or fainting, hypoactivity, ataxia, hunched sitting, limb-splay, lateral position, segregation, absence of ear reflex, and tremor. Seek immediate medical attention if you observe these symptoms or think you might have taken too much. Do this even if there are no signs of discomfort or poisoning.

Drug Warnings

Do not take OP-Kluch Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components. Inform the doctor if you have/had low magnesium levels in the blood or electrolyte imbalance, low bone mineral density or bone problems, lupus, stomach or intestinal blockage, heart, kidney, or liver problems. Consult the doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Let the doctor know if you are taking any other medicines, including herbal products and supplements.
