Maxalom 400mg Tablet belongs to the group of antibiotic medicines called fluoroquinolones indicated in the treatment of mild to moderate bacterial infections such as urinary tract infections and bronchitis. Bacterial infections are caused due to the multiplication of harmful bacteria inside or on the body.
Maxalom 400mg Tablet contains Lomefloxacin, that works by interfering with the activity of topoisomerase IV and DNA gyrase, which are necessary for the transcription and replication of bacterial DNA. Thereby, Maxalom 400mg Tablet fights bacteria in the body and treats bacterial infection.
