It removes excess sugar from the body via urine, increases the amounts of certain natural substances that lower blood sugar when it is high, reduces sugar production by cells in the liver and delays sugar absorption from the intestines.
Istamet G-IR 50/500/1 Tablet 10's should be avoided if you are allergic to any of the medicines or the components in it. Before starting the treatment, inform your doctor about your medical history and the medications you take, including herbs and supplements. This can help prevent unwanted effects. Istamet G-IR 50/500/1 Tablet 10's is not recommended for use in patients with severe liver or kidney disease. Drug-Food Interactions: Intake of excessive alcoholic beverages may increase the chance of a life-threatening condition known as Lactic Acidosis. So, avoid intake of alcoholic beverages with Istamet G-IR 50/500/1 Tablet 10's.
