Intalith 300 mg Tablet is used to prevent and treat mood disorders like mania and bipolar disorder. Mania is a mental condition that causes intense excitement, high energy, and delusions (misbeliefs). Bipolar disorder is a mental condition associated with extreme mood swings ranging from the hyper stage of mania to low-mood depression.

Intalith 300 mg Tablet contains Lithium that helps to treat mental disorders by increasing the activity of chemical messengers in the brain, thereby suppressing the excessive and abnormal activity of nerve cells in the brain and helping in stabilizing a person’s mood.

Take Intalith 300 mg Tablet as prescribed. Your doctor will advise how often you take Intalith 300 mg Tablet based on your medical condition. Do not take more than the prescribed dose of Intalith 300 mg Tablet as too much Lithium may be dangerous. The symptoms include blurred vision, feeling or being sick, vomiting, fainting, sleepiness, lightheadedness, increased urge to urinate, lack of control over pee or poo, shaking or muscle weakness, muscle twitches, spasms or jerks affecting the face, eyes, neck or tongue, confusion and blackouts. If you suspect you have taken overdose or notice signs of overdose, please consult a doctor immediately.
