Ciractam 1.5 gm Injection is an antibiotic medicine used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is used in treating mild to moderate infections of the nose, ears, skin, throat, urinary tract, and lungs (such as pneumonia and bronchitis (infection in the airway tubes)) caused by bacteria. A bacterial infection occurs when harmful bacteria grow in the body. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly. Ciractam 1.5 gm Injection is only effective in treating infections caused by bacteria and is not effective for viral infections like the flu or a common cold.
Ciractam 1.5 gm Injection contains Cefpirome and Sulbactam. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall (a protective covering) that is necessary for their survival.
Ciractam 1.5 gm Injection may cause certain side effects, such as indigestion, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, headache, pain at the injection site, and stomach pain. If these side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor. A trained healthcare professional will administer it. Hence, do not self-administer.
