Bisobite-AM 5 Tablet 10's is used to treat high blood pressure. Hypertension or high blood pressure is a chronic condition in which the force exerted by the blood against the artery wall is high. As a result, it leads to heart disease, irregular heartbeat, and other complications.

Bisobite-AM 5 Tablet 10's contains Amlodipine (calcium channel blocker) and Bisoprolol (beta blocker). Amlodipine acts by relaxing the blood vessels. Bisoprolol helps relax our blood vessels by blocking the action of certain natural substances in your body. Take Bisobite-AM 5 Tablet 10's with or without food as prescribed by your doctor with a full glass of water. You may have common side effects like headaches, feeling exhausted, and swollen ankles, which usually resolve after some time. Prolonged intake of Bisobite-AM 5 Tablet 10's may lead to a lowering of blood pressure. So, you must closely monitor your blood pressure if you have ever had a stroke or heart attack or are currently taking other blood pressure-lowering pills. It is advised to continue taking this drug and not stop taking it suddenly without consulting your doctor.

It is advisable to drink plenty of fluids while taking this medicine to overcome muscle weakness, dry mouth, and extreme thirst. Do not take grapefruit or grapefruit juices with Bisobite-AM 5 Tablet 10's as it can increase the concentration of Bisobite-AM 5 Tablet 10's and worsen its side effects. Please inform your doctor if you have had an allergic reaction to Bisobite-AM 5 Tablet 10's, are pregnant or planning to get pregnant, are breastfeeding, have liver disease, kidney disease, heart failure, diabetes, heart valve problem or heart attack. Reducing the amount of table salt (sodium chloride) in your food often relieves the swelling of the body. Bisobite-AM 5 Tablet 10's is prescribed to adults and children more than six years of age.

• Bradycardia (slow heart rate)

Don't stop taking Bisobite-AM 5 Tablet 10's without talking to your doctor first. Stopping Bisobite-AM 5 Tablet 10's abruptly may cause changes in your heart rhythm and blood pressure, cause chest pain, or a heart attack. Your doctor will lower your dose gradually over a period of time to help prevent these symptoms. You should not use Bisobite-AM 5 Tablet 10's if you have a very slow heartbeat, asthma, serious heart condition (sick sinus syndrome), or any heart blockage. It should not be given to the children less than 12 years of age. Before taking Bisobite-AM 5 Tablet 10's you should tell your doctor if you have any muscle disorder (myasthenia gravis, rhabdomyolysis), breathing problems (COPD, bronchitis, emphysema), low blood sugar level (hypoglycaemia), low blood pressure (hypotension), depression, previous heart failure, liver/kidney disease, thyroid hormone disorder, adrenal gland cancer, or problems with circulation (Raynaud’s syndrome).

• Keep your weight under control with BMI (Body Mass Index) 19.5-24.9.
• Regular physical activity or exercise for at least 150 minutes per week, or about 30 minutes most days of the week, can help lower your raised blood pressure by about 5 mm of Hg.
• Opt for a diet rich in whole grains, fruits, veggies, and low-fat dairy products.
• If you are taking alcohol, then only one serving for women and two servings for men is advisable.
• Quitting smoking is the best strategy to lower the risk of heart disease.
• Avoid chronic stress, as it can raise your blood pressure. Try to enjoy and spend time with your loved ones to cope with stress and practice mindfulness techniques.
• Monitor your blood pressure daily, and if there is too much fluctuation, then immediately contact your doctor.
• Try to include heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acid-containing food drinks in your daily diet. Low-fat cooking oils like olive oil, soybean oil, canola oil, and coconut oil can help lower your elevated blood pressure.
