You are advised not to drive or operate heavy machinery after taking Alfakim 100 mg Injection as it may cause dizziness. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, talk to your doctor before taking Alfakim 100 mg Injection. The doctor will prescribe you Alfakim 100 mg Injection only if the benefits outweigh the potential risks.

Drug-Drug Interactions: Alfakim 100 mg Injection may have interaction with water pills/diuretics (furosemide, ethacrynic acid), pain killers (indomethacin, aspirin, lidocaine), antibiotics (like penicillin, kanamycin, gentamycin, ceftriaxone, vancomycin); vitamin supplements (like thiamine), anti-cancer drugs (like cisplatin).

• Eat fibre-rich food such as whole grains, beans, lentils, berries, broccoli, peas and bananas.
• Avoid foods rich in calcium, grapefruit and grapefruit juice as they might hinder the absorption of antibiotics.
• Avoid consumption of alcohol and usage of tobacco.
