About Hairdruff S Shampoo

Hairdruff S Shampoo belongs to a class of medicine known as an antifungal. Hairdruff S Shampoo is primarily used to treat dandruff and control seborrheic dermatitis (scaly patches and red skin on the scalp). Dandruff is a flaky, itchy scalp without signs of inflammation. It is unnecessary shedding of dead skin from the scalp.

Hairdruff S Shampoo is composed of two medicines: Ketoconazole (antifungal) and salicylic acid (keratolytic agent). Ketoconazole is an antifungal agent that works by preventing the growth of dandruff-causing fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Salicylic acid belongs to a class of drugs known as keratoplastic, which works by removing dead cells from the skin’s top layer and slowing down skin cell's growth. This effect decreases scaling and dryness, thus relieving itching and cracking related to dandruff.
