CEFOPERAZONE+TAZOBACTAM contains Cefoperazone and Tazobactam. Cefoperazone kills bacteria by inhibiting nucleopeptide synthesis in the bacterial cell wall. Tazobactam reduces bacterial resistance and enhances the activity of Cefoperazone against bacteria. Together, CEFOPERAZONE+TAZOBACTAM helps to treat bacterial infections.

In some cases, CEFOPERAZONE+TAZOBACTAM may cause side effects such as pain and inflammation at the site of injection, nausea, vomiting, and indigestion.
