Zukavit LC Tablet belongs to the group of vitamins/nutrients used to treat muscle spasms, cramps and carnitine deficiency. A muscle cramp is a rapid, abrupt and sudden contraction of one or more muscles of the body. Carnitine deficiency is a deficient store of carnitine in the body.

Zukavit LC Tablet contains Levocarnitine and Tocopherol (Vitamin E). Zukavit LC Tablet  relieves muscular contractions and works towards strengthening muscles by supplying nutrients necessary for growth. Zukavit LC Tablet also works as an antioxidant, thus protecting body cells from damage by free radicals. It also helps maintain skeletal muscle function.

Zukavit LC Tablet may be taken with or without food. In some cases, Zukavit LC Tablet may cause certain common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, or a mild stomach upset. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen.

It is advisable to inform the doctor if you are allergic to any of its components. Keep your doctor informed if you suffer from hypersensitivity, epilepsy, cardiac disorder or any disease-causing chronic diarrhoea. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant or breastfeeding. Talk to your doctor before consuming alcohol with Zukavit LC Tablet as there may be an interaction.

Zukavit LC Tablet should not be used in case of any known allergy to either of the components. Inform your doctor if you have arterial or thrombotic disorders, cardiovascular health disorders, diabetes, epilepsy, peripheral neuropathy, kidney or liver disease. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Keep your doctor informed if you are on anticoagulant therapy. Zukavit LC Tablet may interact with alcohol, please consult your doctor before use.

Drug-Drug Interactions: Zukavit LC Tablet may interact with blood-thinners (warfarin), anti-obesity drugs (orlistat), bile-acid binders (cholestyramine, colestipol), insulin, cholesterol-reducing statins, immunosuppressant (cyclosporine), vitamin B3 (niacin), and iron.

Drug-Food Interactions: Zukavit LC Tablet should be used with caution in case of intolerance to certain sugars. 

Drug-Disease Interactions: Zukavit LC Tablet should be used with caution in patients with a known hypersensitivity disorder, chronic diarrhoea, thromboembolic disorder, cardiovascular disorder, bleeding or clotting disorder, epilepsy, diabetes, hypothyroidism, peripheral neuropathy and end-stage renal disease.
