Votatrop 0.01% Eye Drops 5 ml is indicated to control the progression of myopia (near-sightedness) in children. Myopia, also known as near-sightedness, is when distant objects appear blurry, but near objects appear clearly.
Votatrop 0.01% Eye Drops 5 ml contains ‘atropine’, which modulates dopamine release and reduces myopia progression. It paralyses the ciliary muscles and inhibits accommodation to allow accurate refraction in children.
In some cases, Votatrop 0.01% Eye Drops 5 ml may cause side effects such as dry mouth, dilated pupils, and sensitivity to light. Most of these side effects may not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. However, talk to the doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Directions for Use

Instill the prescribed number of drops into the pocket. • Avoid touching the container tip to the eye or eyelids to prevent contamination. • Replace the cap tightly after each use.
