Vitavir Tablet belongs to the class of 'nutritional supplements,' primarily used to boost immunity and helps the body fight against various infections. It also helps treat nutritional deficiencies. Immunity is termed as the capability to resist disease or infection by preventing the development of harmful microorganisms or counteracting their effects. Nutritional deficiency occurs when the body is unable to absorb or get enough nutrients from food.
Vitavir Tablet is a combination of Vitamin C (Ascorbic acid), Vitamin D (Cholecalciferol), and Zinc sulphate. Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin and an antioxidant that prevents cell damage. It enhances iron absorption from foods and boosts immunity. Vitamin D helps maintain blood calcium and phosphorus levels and the mineralisation of bone. It is used to treat and prevent bone disorders, such as rickets and osteomalacia. Zinc sulphate is a mineral that promotes the growth and development of body tissues. It is essential for vision, fighting against rhinoviruses (that cause the common cold), immune function, bone metabolism, taste, wound healing, insulin production, blood clotting, and thyroid function.
