About Sanprit Capsule

Sanprit Capsule is a combination medication used in the treatment of neuropathic pain. Neuropathic pain is a chronic progressive nerve disease that causes nerve pain due to damage of sensory nerves. Symptoms include spontaneous, untriggered pain, unpleasant feeling, shooting, burning or stabbing pain, difficulty resting or sleeping and evoked pain (pain caused by events that are usually not painful). Sanprit Capsule may be used in the treatment of diabetic neuropathy, drug-induced neuropathy, alcoholic neuropathy, and trigeminal neuralgia.

Sanprit Capsule is a combination of four drugs: Alpha-lipoic acid (anti-oxidant), folic acid (vitamin), methylcobalamin and pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6). Methylcobalamin and Pyridoxine hydrochloride help in the rejuvenation and protection of damaged nerve cells by producing a substance called myelin. Alpha-lipoic acid helps in providing a protective effect on the nerve tissues and brain. Folic acid helps in providing essential nutrients to the nerves. Together, Sanprit Capsule helps in providing relief from neuropathic pain.

You are advised to take Sanprit Capsule for as long as your physician has suggested it for you depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as nausea, headache, vomiting and heartburn. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your physician if you experience these side effects persistently.

Consult your physician before starting Sanprit Capsule if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Sanprit Capsule is not recommended for children as safety and efficacy have not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Sanprit Capsule as it could lead to unpleasant side effects. If you are due to undergo any surgery, inform your doctor that you are taking Sanprit Capsule . Exercise caution while using Sanprit Capsule with anti-tumour drugs, antibiotics, chemotherapy, anti-diabetic drugs, thyroid hormone and blood thinners.
