About Retset Tablet

Retset Tablet belongs to the class of 'multivitamins', primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies. Nutritional deficiency occurs when the body is unable to absorb or get enough nutrients from food. It could lead to various health problems, including defective bone growth, skin disorders, digestive issues, and dementia (memory loss).

Retset Tablet contains L-Methylfolate, Pyridoxal-5-phosphate and Mecobalamin. L-Methylfolate helps in producing new blood cells and prevents low folate levels. Pyridoxal-5-phosphate is involved in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism, the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. Mecobalamin regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis.

Your doctor will decide the duration based on your medical condition. Sometimes, Retset Tablet may cause common side effects like nausea, stomach upset, and diarrhoea. FAQs

Retset Tablet belongs to the class of 'multivitamins', primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies.
Retset Tablet is a vitamin supplement and consists of L-Methylfolate, Pyridoxal-5-phosphate (vitamin B6), and Mecobalamin (vitamin B12). When you lack these vitamins in your body, which cannot be recovered even with the food sources, Retset Tablet helps replenish these deficient levels. Collectively, Retset Tablet treats nutritional deficiencies.
Pyridoxal-5-phosphate may interfere with laboratory tests like urine tests for urobilinogen. Please make sure your doctor and the laboratory staff know that you take Retset Tablet before undergoing blood and urine examinations.
Avoid taking more than one multivitamin product concomitantly unless advised by the doctor. Taking similar nutritional supplements simultaneously can lead to a vitamin overdose or other serious side effects.
Antacids may interfere with the absorption of Retset Tablet . Hence, taking Retset Tablet two hours before or four hours after taking antacids is advised.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is time for the next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and follow your usual dosage.
The common side effects of Retset Tablet include nausea, stomach upset, and diarrhoea. If these side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
Folic acid deficiency happens when your body does not get enough folate (vitamin B9), which is needed to make healthy red blood cells. This can lead to anaemia, causing extreme tiredness, low energy, muscle weakness, and pale skin. If left untreated, it can also lead to complications such as problems with the nervous system, heart issues, temporary infertility, and complications during pregnancy and birth defects. Chronic deficiency may also increase the risk of heart failure.
Retset Tablet should be used during pregnancy only when advised by your doctor. Let your doctor know if you are pregnant or planning to conceive before taking Retset Tablet .
You should take Retset Tablet as recommended by your doctor. Do not take more than the recommended daily dose of vitamin and mineral supplements.
