Rejucalcium Tablet is a nutritional supplement that promotes good bone health and prevents the risk of fractures. It is indicated in the treatment of joint pain, inflammation, osteomalacia, rickets, and osteoarthritis. It contains Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3), Calcium carbonate, Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12), Magnesium, Zinc, Manganese, Copper, Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6), and Folic acid. It supports overall bone and joint health. The calcium and magnesium combination helps in the mineralization of bone, foetal growth and development, decreases urinary calcium excretion and prevents pregnancy complications like pre-eclampsia, premature delivery, and intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR).

• Vitamin D3/Cholecalciferol maintains blood calcium and phosphorus levels and mineralization of bone. It is used to treat and prevent bone disorders, such as rickets and osteomalacia. It aids calcium absorption enabling bone growth and repair. It further prevents cartilage degeneration.
• Calcium is a mineral and prevents or treats calcium deficiency. It provides essential nutrients for bone formation and maintenance. It helps to maintain bone and tooth health.
• Cyanocobalamin is a form of vitamin B12 that helps in the proper functioning of the brain, nerves and the production of red blood cells. It treats low blood levels of vitamin B12 in people with pernicious anaemia and other conditions like pregnancy, thyroid problems, stomach and intestinal disorders.
• Pyridoxine is involved in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism and the creation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. It also helps in cognitive development through the biosynthesis of neurotransmitters and maintains normal homocysteine levels (an amino acid in the blood).
• Magnesium helps increase bone mineral density and thus reduces the risk of bone fractures and osteoporosis.
• Folic acid helps prevent infant spinal cord birth defects in women of childbearing age. It is essential for the development of cognitive abilities.
• Zinc, Manganese, and Copper are the essential trace minerals that act as excellent sources for maintaining joint and bone health. They prevent cell damage due to free radicals. They are also involved in tissue growth.

Take medicine in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. Please do not take more than the daily recommended dosage. Swallow the tablet/capsule as a whole with a glass of water, preferably with meals or as directed by the physician. Do not try to break/crush/chew the tablet.

Zinc may decrease the absorption of antibiotics, thereby reducing their effectiveness. It is advised to maintain at least an hour gap between the medication and other antibiotics.

Rejucalcium Tablet is used to increase low levels of calcium in the body. Hence it is not advised to use it during hypercalcaemia since it causes the overdose of calcium leading to kidney stones and other effects.

What happens if I miss a dose?

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is time for the next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and follow your usual dosage.
