Invest in a healthy diet high in iron, omega-3 fatty acids, Vitamin C, and minerals. Increase your intake of fatty fish, eggs, lean meats, fruits, veggies, and whole grains. Control the degree of stress in your life by scheduling time for meditation and, if necessary, counselling, as stress adds to hair loss and hair fall. Shampoos containing harsh chemicals should be avoided. You should avoid blow-drying your hair. Instead, go for air drying. Use a heat protectant to protect your hair from heat. If you have coloured hair, protect it with a good shampoo and conditioner.
