About Procart Tablet

Procart Tablet is used to treat inflammation and pain in osteoarthritis and other joint disorders and muscle damage. Osteoarthritis is a degenerative joint disease in which the two ends of the joints come together due to the breakdown of a protective covering of cartilage (the connective tissue that cushions the joints). This further leads to pain and stiffness.

Procart Tablet consists of Chondroitin sulfate, Curcumin extract, and Methyl sulfonyl methane. Chondroitin sulfate protects chondrocytes, the cells that help maintain cartilage structure. It also provides long-lasting pain relief and slows down the degeneration changes of joints. Curcumin, extracted from Curcuma longa or turmeric, has potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It decreases the activity of inflammation-causing substances in the body. Methyl sulfonyl methane is a supplement that decreases joint inflammation and restores flexibility by collagen production.

Your doctor will decide the dosage and duration based on your medical condition. Procart Tablet is likely safe to consume. In some cases, it may cause side effects like nausea, diarrhoea, constipation, bloating, stomach discomfort, and stomach pain. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if these side effects persist longer, please consult your doctor.

Please inform your doctor if you are known to be allergic to Procart Tablet or its inactive components. Brief your medical history to the doctor if you have any heart/kidney/liver diseases, asthma, prostate cancer, bleeding disorders or varicose veins before starting Procart Tablet . Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking Procart Tablet . It is unknown how alcohol consumption affects the working of this medicine; hence, please consult a doctor. Disease/Condition Glossary

Osteoarthritis: It is a degenerative joint disease in which the two ends of the joints come together due to the breakdown of a protective covering of cartilage. Due to the absence of this protective covering, the joints rub against each other, leading to pain and stiffness. Symptoms of osteoarthritis include pain, stiffness, inflammation, and tenderness. The main reason for osteoarthritis is age; the older you are, the more likely you could get osteoarthritis, thus known as degenerative disease, meaning that the joints wear out as a person ages. Other reasons include past injuries, such as torn cartilage, dislocated joints, and ligament injuries.
