Pleat-5 Tablet 30's belongs to the class of 'multivitamins', primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies. Nutritional deficiency occurs when the body is unable to absorb or get enough nutrients from food. It could lead to various health problems, including defective bone growth, skin disorders, digestive issues, and dementia (memory loss). 

Pleat-5 Tablet 30's contains L-Methylfolate, Pyridoxal-5-phosphate and Mecobalamin. L-Methylfolate helps in producing new blood cells and prevents low folate levels. Pyridoxal-5-phosphate is involved in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism, the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. Mecobalamin regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis. 

Your doctor will decide the duration based on your medical condition. Sometimes, Pleat-5 Tablet 30's may cause common side effects like nausea, stomach upset, and diarrhoea. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. Please consult your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

If you are allergic to Pleat-5 Tablet 30's or its inactive components, please inform your doctor. Pleat-5 Tablet 30's is used to treat nutritional deficiencies. It contains L-Methylfolate, Pyridoxal-5-phosphate and Mecobalamin. Pyridoxal-5-phosphate (vitamin B6) is involved in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism, the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. It helps in cognitive development through the biosynthesis of neurotransmitters and maintains normal homocysteine levels (an amino acid in the blood). Mecobalamin (Methylcobalamin) regulates body functions like cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis.

Let your doctor know if you have any blood disorders like pernicious anaemia before starting Pleat-5 Tablet 30's. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking Pleat-5 Tablet 30's. Drinking alcohol may hinder the nutrients' absorption; therefore, it is advised to limit the alcohol intake while using Pleat-5 Tablet 30's. Keep Pleat-5 Tablet 30's away from direct sunlight. Do not store Pleat-5 Tablet 30's above 25ºC

Drug-Drug Interaction: Pleat-5 Tablet 30's may interact with anti-cancer drugs (altretamine) and fits medicines (phenytoin).

Drug-Food Interaction: Please avoid alcohol while using Pleat-5 Tablet 30's to ensure maximum absorption of nutrients.

Drug-Disease Interaction: Use Pleat-5 Tablet 30's with medical advice if you have malabsorption syndrome (difficulty absorbing nutrition from food), heart/kidney/liver/blood vessel diseases, and allergic reactions to medicines.

• Try Vitamin B complex food sources like milk, cheese, eggs, chicken, red meat, tuna, mackerel, salmon, shellfish, oysters, clams, dark green vegetables such as spinach and kale, beets, avocados, potatoes, whole grains, cereals, kidney beans, black beans, and chickpea.
• Try folate-rich food sources like broccoli, Brussels sprouts, leafy green vegetables, cabbage, kale, spring greens, spinach, peas, chickpeas, kidney beans, and breakfast cereals fortified with folic acid.
• Sprinkle sunflower seeds over your food, vegetables and salads. 
• Include fruits like citrus, banana, and watermelon in your diet.
• Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.
• Exercise regularly and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Avoid excess fatty foods.

• Clinical monitoring of vitamins B12 and B6 levels through blood examinations is recommended. 
• Let your doctor and the laboratory staff know if you are using Pleat-5 Tablet 30's since Pyridoxal-5-phosphate may interfere with laboratory tests like urine tests for urobilinogen.
