Ophthacare eye drops are primarily used to relieve eyestrain, redness and dry eyes.
Do not wear contact lenses while using Ophthacare eye drops. Remove contact lenses before using Ophthacare eye drops and wear them back after 15 minutes of using Ophthacare eye drops.
Ophthacare eye drops may cause temporary blurred vision immediately after instilling in the eyes. Therefore, you are recommended to wait until your vision is clear before driving or operating machinery.
You are recommended to maintain a time gap of a minimum of 5 minutes between using Ophthacare eye drops and other eye drops. However, please consult a doctor before using other medicines with Ophthacare eye drops.
You should wash your hands first, tilt your head back, and gently pull the lower eyelid downwards. Then, squeeze the bottle gently by holding it upside down to instil the number of drops into the affected eye as advised by your doctor, without touching the tip of the bottle to the eye or surrounding areas to avoid contamination. Finally, replace the cap tightly after use. After applying Ophthacare eye drops, you are advised to close your eyes for a minimum of 2 to 3 minutes, and pressure should be applied to the corner of the eye by pressing a finger to stop eye drops from spreading into the rest of the body.
