About Neosorlen V Tablet

Neosorlen V Tablet belongs to a class of medicines called photosensitizers. It is used along with ultraviolet light for the treatment of vitiligo. Vitiligo is a skin condition in which the skin loses colour (melanocytes). This can result in discoloured patches in different areas of the body, including the skin, hair, and mucous membranes.

Neosorlen V Tablet contains “trioxsalen”, which is a photosensitive medication used along with UV-A rays. It works by activating certain skin cells (melanocytes) and helps to re-pigment the discoloured and white patches.

Neosorlen V Tablet should be taken as advised by your physician. The dose and course of this medicine will be decided by your doctor based on your health condition. Neosorlen V Tablet may cause certain common side effects like erythema (skin redness), blisters on the skin, edema (swelling), and itching. These side effects resolve on their own. However, if it persists, stop using Neosorlen V Tablet and consult your physician.

The detailed use of Neosorlen V Tablet is as follows: <br/>• Vitiligo Treatment: Neosorlen V Tablet is used in vitiligo treatment in conjunction with ultraviolet A (UVA) light therapy (PUVA) to promote repigmentation of affected skin areas, helping to restore skin color and improve appearance.<br/>

Directions for Use

• Neosorlen V Tablet can be taken with meals or milk to prevent stomach upset, or as advised by the doctor.• Follow your doctor's instructions regarding the dosage and duration of treatment.• Swallow the medicine as a whole with water.• Do not crush or chew it.
