Pain and fever are caused by the activation of pain receptors due to the release of certain natural chemicals in the body like prostaglandins. 

Neomol-170 Suppositories contains 'Paracetamol' which prevents the release of chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause pain and inflammation. Thus, relieves pain. Neomol-170 Suppositories also acts as an antipyretic agent by affecting the chemical messengers in the brain that regulate body temperature. Thereby, reduces fever.

Drug-Drug Interactions: Neomol-170 Suppositories may interact with blood thinners (warfarin), anti-viral (zidovudine), anti-gout (probenecid), antibiotic (chloramphenicol), bile acid sequestrants (cholestyramine), prokinetic agent (metoclopramide), anti-nausea (domperidone), and oral contraceptives.

• Stay hydrated; drink plenty of water.
• Mild exercises such as jogging and walking are helpful for muscle stretching.
• To avoid developing pressure sores, change your position at least every two hours.
• Hot or cold therapy can help treat pain. Apply an ice pack or hot pack on the muscle for 15-20minutes.
