About Moss Eye Drops

Moss Eye Drops is a combination medicine used to provide relief from burning sensation, irritation, and discomfort due to dryness of the eye or due to irritation. Moss Eye Drops helps in refreshing and lubricating the eyes. Dry eyes is an eye condition that occurs when your natural tears are unable to provide ample lubrication for the eyes.

Moss Eye Drops is a combination of three drugs, namely: Povidone, Polyvinyl alcohol, and Chlorbutol. Polyvinyl alcohol acts as a lubricant that works as natural tears and helps in providing relief from burning sensation, dryness, and discomfort. Povidone acts as an antiseptic, kills the bacteria, and provides relief from minor irritation. Chlorbutol acts as a preservative. Together, Moss Eye Drops helps in treating dry eyes.

In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as eye discomfort, pain, blurred vision, and irritation. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Talk to your doctor if the irritation persists despite using Moss Eye Drops for three days or if it worsens. Consult your doctor before using Moss Eye Drops if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Moss Eye Drops should be used in children only if prescribed by the doctor. Inform your doctor regarding other prescription, non-prescription medicines or herbal products you are taking to prevent any side effects/interactions.
