Melamine Lotion belongs to the class of  'anti-allergens'. Melamine Lotion is used in the treatment of allergic skin conditions. It is also used to treat itching, insect/sting bites, eczema, and other minor skin conditions.

Melamine Lotion is a combination of three medicines namely: calamine, diphenhydramine, and camphor. Calamine and camphor are two astringents whereas diphenhydramine is anti-allergic. The astringents work by imparting a cooling sensation on the skin to relieve minor skin irritation and the antiallergic works by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine), thereby relieving symptoms of skin allergy.

Use  Melamine Lotion exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor. Do not use in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended. Before you apply Melamine Lotion topical, wash the skin with soap and water. Allow the skin to dry completely. Apply Melamine Lotion  directly to the skin and rub it gently, allowing it to dry on your skin. You may also use a cotton ball to smooth the medicine onto your skin. Usually, Melamine Lotion does not cause any side-effects, sometimes may have side effects like hives, rash, redness, and difficulty in breathing, in that case, contact your doctor immediately.

Let your doctor know if you are using a prescription, non-prescription drugs, and herbal products before starting Melamine Lotion . If you are known to be allergic to Melamine Lotion or its inactive components, please inform your doctor. Store at room temperature away from moisture and heat. Do not freeze or refrigerate. Wash your hands with soap and water after applying for the medicine. Do not use the Melamine Lotion for internal use, it is only for external use. Discontinue if rash or burning sensation occurs by informing your doctor.

• Do not use on extensive areas of skin for longer than 7 days
• Avoid contact with mucous membranes and eyes
• Discontinue if rash or burning sensation occurs
• Do not stop the Melamine Lotion suddenly after relieving the symptoms on your own, there may be a chance of reoccurrence of symptoms. So take the advise of your doctor before stopping the Melamine Lotion

• Quitting smoking
• Limit alcohol
• Take foods like blueberries, broccoli, guava, kiwi fruits, oranges, papaya, strawberries, and sweet potatoes.
• Avoid oily content foods, white grains, chocolate.
