About Maxgm OD 1500mg Tablet

Maxgm OD 1500mg Tablet is used to reduce pain, stiffness, and swelling in joints caused by osteoarthritis. Osteoarthritis is a degenerative joint disease in which the two ends of the joints come together due to the breakdown of a protective covering of cartilage. Due to the absence of this protective covering, the joints rub against each other, leading to pain and stiffness.

The Maxgm OD 1500mg Tablet contains Glucosamine, which stimulates the formation and repair of the cartilage (the hard connective tissue that protects and covers the ends of long bones at the joints). It lubricates the joints and improves flexibility and movement. Thus, it reduces pain and swelling in the joints.

Take Maxgm OD 1500mg Tablet as advised by your doctor. In some cases, you may experience constipation, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, or heartburn. Most of these side effects of Maxgm OD 1500mg Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to shellfish, Maxgm OD 1500mg Tablet, or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before taking Maxgm OD 1500mg Tablet. Do not give Maxgm OD 1500mg Tablet to children without doctor’s advice. Directions for Use

Drug Interactions

Drug-Drug Interaction: Maxgm OD 1500mg Tablet may interact with blood thinners (warfarin, dicumarol, anisindione) and anticancer agents (etoposide and doxorubicin). 

Drug-Food Interaction: Maxgm OD 1500mg Tablet may interact with alcohol. Therefore, avoid alcohol intake while taking Maxgm OD 1500mg Tablet as it may affect the way Maxgm OD 1500mg Tablet works.

Drug-Disease Interaction: If you have cancer, high cholesterol, diabetes, liver disease, asthma or other breathing problems, inform your doctor before taking Maxgm OD 1500mg Tablet.
