About Maistar Tablet

Maistar Tablet is used to treat nutritional deficiencies. It effectively treats various conditions caused by lack of vitamins, such as vitamin B6 and B12 deficiencies, diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage due to diabetes), and peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage in the hands and feet). Nutritional deficiency occurs when the body is unable to absorb or get enough nutrients from food.

Maistar Tablet contains Benfotiamine, Alpha lipoic acid, Pyridoxine, and Methylcobalamin. Benfotiamine, a synthetic form of Vitamin B1 or Thiamine, helps deliver essential nutrients to the nerves. Alpha-lipoic acid is an antioxidant that prevents cell damage and restores vitamin levels in the body. It also decreases pain and numbness in neuropathy. Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) is a water-soluble vitamin involved in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism and the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. Methylcobalamin (Mecobalamin), a form of vitamin B12, regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis.

Your doctor will decide the dosage based on your medical condition. Sometimes, Maistar Tablet may cause common side effects like nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, and headache. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. You are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience any of the side effects persistently.

Let your doctor know if you use any prescription and non-prescription medications, including other vitamins, before starting Maistar Tablet . Please tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of the components. It is essential to let your doctor know if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or breastfeeding. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Maistar Tablet to ensure maximum absorption of nutrients. Maistar Tablet should be used in children only with the doctor's advice.
