Jectocos Lipo Strawberry Suspension is used to treat anaemia (deficiency of iron and haemoglobin). Its deficiency occurs mainly due to poor diet, poor absorption of food or increased folate use in the body (in pregnancy). It contains Iron and Folic acid, which work by boosting the production of red blood cells (RBC) in the body. As a result, an adequate number of RBCs are produced in the body, so that body's each tissue gets a sufficient supply of oxygen. It may cause side effects such as constipation, dry mouth, loss of appetite, bloating, and diarrhoea in some cases. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.

Jectocos Lipo Strawberry Suspension belongs to a class of medications called 'haematinics' primarily used to treat anaemia (deficiency of iron and haemoglobin). Its deficiency occurs mainly due to poor diet, poor absorption of food or increased folate use in the body (in pregnancy). Anaemia is a condition in which the body does not have enough red blood cells to carry adequate oxygen required to various body tissues. 

Jectocos Lipo Strawberry Suspension is a combination drug containing Iron and Folic acid (haematinics combination) primarily used to treat anaemia. Jectocos Lipo Strawberry Suspension works by boosting the production of red blood cells (RBC) in the body. As a result, an adequate number of RBCs are produced in the body, so that body's each tissue gets a sufficient supply of oxygen. 

Take Jectocos Lipo Strawberry Suspension as directed by your doctor. You may experience constipation, dry mouth, loss of appetite, bloating, and diarrhoea in some cases. Most of these side effects of Jectocos Lipo Strawberry Suspension do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Do not take Jectocos Lipo Strawberry Suspension if you are allergic to Jectocos Lipo Strawberry Suspension , iron, folic acid or any of the ingredients of Jectocos Lipo Strawberry Suspension . Jectocos Lipo Strawberry Suspension is given to a child under 12 years of age should be given under strict medical supervision.

Directions for Use

Tablet: Take it with or without food as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or break it. Suspension: Shake the bottle well before use. Take the recommended dose by mouth using the measuring cup/dosing syringe/dropper provided by the pack.

What if I have taken an overdose of Jectocos Lipo Strawberry Suspension

The symptoms of overdose include vomiting, severe stomach pain, shallow breathing, bloody diarrhea, coughing up blood or vomit that looks like coffee grounds, weak and rapid pulse, blue lips, pale skin, and seizures (fits).
